The grandeur that is Titanic was once said to be unsinkable, yet it sank almost a century ago. And if people think Titanic the movie is another one that’s unsinkable, well, think again.

Avatar is now $2 million closer from stealing the “highest-grossing film of all time” title from Titanic. Another James Cameron masterpiece, Avatar has already sold $1.841 billion worth of tickets, trying to beat Titanic’s gross of $1.843 billion.
